青青河边草 was a popular Taiwanese novel that was adapted into a TV show and song. I watched the show in the early 90s and can't remember much of it now. Wikipedia says it was about two orphaned girls who ran away together to escape abuse and an arranged marriage, respectively. That vaguely rings a bell. The song, on the other hand, lives rent free in my head. Judging by the lyrics, I'd say it's about resilience:

青青河边草 The green green* grass by the river

悠悠天不老 Is unfazed and ageless

野火烧不尽 It cannot be eradicated by wildfire

风雨吹不倒 Nor felled by storms

Not a bad piece for a therapy office.

*Depends on the context, the Chinese character "青" means black, green, or blue. This has always bugged me. But, in this case, I will be able to make a pun in the title, so all is well. Does the Chinese title here mean "the green green grass" or "the black black grass"? ::Cackles::

Oh, and there’s another drawing, “Fly Away” (2014), on the other side.
